Kingswood is a unique neighbourhood that sits on the southeastern border of St. Albert. Kingswood’s unique development began in the 1980s when homes began being built on the North and South end, with an intention to eventually meet in the middle. However, due to disagreements between the developer and the City, the middle section remains largely undeveloped and is currently used as farmland. Due to the pause in development, Kingswood does not have many parks or pathways within the neighbourhood, however, it is just a short walk to two different nature trails and parks. Kingswood sits adjacent to Woodlands and Pineview with the border on Sturgeon County. If you are looking for a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to many walking trails and to Edmonton, Kingswood is for you.
